Chardonnay is one of the world’s most loved international grape varieties and has found an optimal terroir in the hills of eastern Friuli. Here, it expresses its eclectic potential in the form of polished, complex, velvety wines with a multitude of floral and fruity aromas.

Mainly trained in the Guyot system, the vines of our Chardonnay benefit from marl and sandstone soils of Eocene origin. The healthy and perfectly ripe grapes are harvested by hand, to preserve the integrity of the berry. Carefully destemmed and left to macerate for a short period, the fruit is then soft crushed and the must obtained is allowed to settle. The must ferments in temperature- controlled stainless-steel tanks. After fermentation, the wine settles on the lees for a few months to enhance savouriness, creaminess and aging potential. The bottled wine is then aged in temperature-controlled binning cellars.
Intense straw yellow. The nose is fine and complex: white oleander and peach blossom weave through Seuka apple, pineapple and candied orange zest, melting into delicate notes of white chocolate, vanilla pod and cocoa butter. On the palate, soft and seductive, with lime and tropical fruit leading into a balanced, long finish of iodine and mineral echoes.
